Kendama World Cup 2023

Last weekend the Kendama World Cup went down in Hatsukaichi, Hiroshima! The premiere Kendama competition serves as our world championship, and boy did it not disappoint this year. The best players in the world went head to head for the world title, and one player showed he’s still the world’s finest. Takuya Igarashi won his third Kendama World Cup title with a final run score of 1543 points. Takuya is now a three time KWC champion, and with no other player with more than one KWC title, Takuya cements himself in a league of his own. With this win, Takuya is making a strong case for greatest Kendama player of all time.

However, Takuya didn’t win by a massive margin, and it should be noted there were several other standout performances. Motty of Sol Kendamas got second place, making it the 4th time he’s finished on the podium, a feat only he has achieved. Incredible consistency demonstrated by one of the game’s greatest players. Maharu rounded out the podium, finishing in 3rd. Nick Gallagher, one of the favorites to possibly take it away from Takuya, finished in 5th place. Nick Gallagher showed he’s still America’s best chance at taking the title back from the Japanese. We expect him to make some adjustments and come back swinging in 2024.

HINA is 365 Kendama!

We are so excited to announce our first female player, and ALSO our first Japanese player: Hina! Hina is an incredible Kendama player hailing from Hatsukaichi, Japan, the birthplace of Kendama. Hina is only 14 years old, and we believe she has the potential to be the best female player in the world. We can’t wait to grow with her, and support her Kendama journey. New Products coming from 365?

We are finalizing a new artist series that we can’t wait to show everyone! Hint: the design pays homage to a specific traditional Japanese art form.

365 at EKC EDIT

365 at EKC edit will also be released this month on our YouTube! We believe this edit is our best edit we’ve made to date.

365 at Van Jam 2023

We are exited to be attending Terra Kendama’s Van Jam this weekend! We are rolling to the event with a deep squad. Nic Stodd, Chris June, Edwin Tickner, Alyjah Onishi, and James Schnebly will be holding it down. Wish the team luck in the competition, and make sure to stay tuned to the 365 instagram to keep up with the team’s shenanigans!

What’s Been New?

Bamboo Shredwin mods! A couple weeks back we released the Shredwin Mod in bamboo, and it was a huge success! The feedback we’ve been getting has been fantastic. For those that may not be familiar: bamboo wood is a lighter wood that’s great for ken flips and stalls, while still being extremely durable. If you haven’t played our Fusion shape in bamboo, we strongly suggest you give it a try!

New Kendamas from 365?

We are pumped to have several exciting new projects in the works that we know you’ll be absolutely stoked on! Most of it is hush hush for now, but what we can say is there may be a fire collab coming from 365 and another brand sometime next month…..New 365 Merch is also in the works!

The Bamboo Shredwin Mod is restocking April 18th at 10am PST, this time featuring Cushion Clear from Sweets Kendamas! One of the best clears out there, you won’t want to miss this special kendama. This is also the first time we will be releasing our kendamas with Cushion Clear on our website to the general public! We did a limited run of Mural Series in Cushion Clear at BATB, and they went quick. We only have a limited amount of Cushion Clear Bamboo Shredwin’s, so set your reminder for 10am PST April 18th.

365 is on Twitch! Our Content Creator Caleb Jeffries is hosting a twice weekly stream with giveaways, games, and all things kendama.

EKC (European Kendama Championship)

The biggest kendama event in Europe is going down June 2nd and 3rd in Leidan, Netherlands! 365 will be a Platinum Sponsor this year, and we couldn’t be more hyped! We will be rolling with a deep squad. Edwin Tickner, Alyjah Onishi, Chris June, and Nic Stodd will be attending the event repping 365. We will be vending both days of the event, and will have EKC exclusive Kendamas and products that you won’t want to miss! If you’re a player in Europe, you gotta make it out. It promises to be one of the world’s largest events! Shout out to Teodore Fiorina from Grain Theory for hosting the event and putting it on for Europe!
